This is The Easy Tee, the first ladies pattern to be released from Little Finch Patterns and I had the chance to test it! Designed to be a loose fit yet still flattering whilst the contrast panel allows for showing off of lots of different types of fabrics. Maybe you have some lovely patterned or custom fabric you want to show off subtly or a beautiful lace or stretch lace for a more evening look and feel? You will probably even be able to use the scraps from a previous project like I have here! So for this one I made the size 2 in the subtle hi-lo length and short sleeves (shirt and tunic lengths and 3/4 sleeves also included in the pattern), I used a bright pink lightweight poly jersey for the body and scraps of cotton jersey leftover from making my Merryweather for the contrast panel. The tee sits nicely on my shoulders, stays fairly fitted through the bust then flows loosely over the waist and a bit more fitted again for the hips. The pdf pattern is sized from US2-3X and has between 16 and 21 pages to print depending on size, length and sleeve length you want to make with an additional 3 if you prefer the neckband to be a pattern piece rather than a measurement for you to cut yourself which is also provided. I also made one a size up in a 4 in the fabric to match one of my Beauty Sleep PJ's I made last year, this will be perfect for when I want a looser PJ top than the fitted one from that pattern although also perfectly wearable out as well! I really enjoyed making these tops, I can easily see them becoming a staple in my wardrobe. The Easy Tee pattern is is on sale for just $2.99 (approximately £2!) until midnight (Texas Time) 17th February with no code needed! Whilst there, the rest of the patterns are also on sale for President's day at just $1.99 (approx. £1.30) so why not grab the Pepper Dress & Top pattern if you haven't already too?!
