It's exactly a year since I started this blog ready for Me-Made-May'15! Now it's that time again!! my pledge this year is
'I, Sarah of MeMade ( memade.weebly.com) , sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May '16. I endeavour to wear at least 1 item of clothing made by me each day and I also aim to make at least 2 new sewn items for myself per week for the duration of Me-Made-May 2016'
I plan to wear a completely MeMade outfit on as many days as possible and definitely on the 31st May to mark the end of this years challenge! I'll blog about what I have been wearing every few days so you aren't inundated with posts!

It's all too easy to get caught up in the sewing of outerwear but what about underwear? If I'm going to be able to wear fully handmade with nothing new being shop bought, I'm going to need undies! So, when a tester call for a variety of styles came out from Little Finch Designs*, I jumped on board and started busting through my scraps pile! There are 2 styles included in this first pattern bundle with another 2 styles in testing for release in a couple of weeks and I'm sure you're pleased to hear these won't be shown as modelled photos, I'm not sure anyone wants to see that!!
This is The Easy Tee, the first ladies pattern to be released from Little Finch Patterns and I had the chance to test it! Designed to be a loose fit yet still flattering whilst the contrast panel allows for showing off of lots of different types of fabrics. Maybe you have some lovely patterned or custom fabric you want to show off subtly or a beautiful lace or stretch lace for a more evening look and feel? You will probably even be able to use the scraps from a previous project like I have here!
A short while ago a tester call went out for the Pepper Top, Peplum and Dress pattern by Little Finch Patterns for ages 2-16! Now, although I don't have any girls to sew it for, I fitted into the measurements myself and the style is pretty similar to some of the tunics and dresses I like to wear so I applied for me! It has a very flattering princess seamed bodice designed with colour-blocking in mind. As a little girl, I remember my favourite dresses or skirts were always the twirliest {probably made that word up!} ones and with the circle skirt on the dress option, I had a lot of fun reliving some childhood memories spinning around during the photos!
